This stuff is CRAZY…but oh so TASTY.

Believe it or not, WILD BILL’S “ANYTHING GOES” Grilling & Dipping Sauce started from very humble beginnings. Initially, it was just a concoction whipped up as a way to improve the taste of wild game. But now…whew baby! This sauce is NOTHING to play with.

The very first batch of sauce was mixed up by creator and founder Bill Meacham in Greenville, North Carolina back in the mid 1970’s. Now…everyone knows how serious North Carolinians take their meat and grilling skills, so sauce is a very delicate thing. Bill would make this recipe at the requests of family and close friends and it quickly went from being 4-5 bottles here and there to 4 or more gallons consistently. The word about his sauce began to spread like wild fire…and thus WILD BILL’S “ANYTHING GOES” Grilling & Dipping sauce was officially born.

Why were people craving this confection so much? What’s the secret to this sauce? Well…if we told you that, we’d have to pull up in the middle of the night and snatch you away to some remote location. Nobody wants that, but we CAN say that what makes this finger-lickin’ tastebud-kickin’ mix so unique is its crazy ability to “change” – you read that right – CHANGE flavors based on how it’s cooked, what it’s poured on, and what it is dipped into…WILD right?? (Pun intended.) From grilling with the regulars – chicken, beef, and pork – to dipping things you may not have thought to pair with any other sauce – pretzels, fried oysters, eggs and zucchini *go ahead and insert your look of surprise here*  – anything REALLY does go with this sauce.

With such a plethora of cuisine and culinary uses (in our fancy voice), this sauce is undeniably a MUST HAVE for any chef, grill king, kitchen queen, and picky-eater kid. We are overwhelmed with pride to have our products on the store shelves and we’re even MORE ecstatic to have become a staple in so many homes.
